  • joined Aercoustics in 1999 as a co-op student.
  • became a full time employee in 2002.
  • responsible for the acoustic design of current architectural projects such as Simon Fraser University, School for the Contemporary Arts and the Bell Lightbox (Toronto International Film Festival).
  • involved in several performing arts centres, including acoustic modeling, acoustic design, and site reviews. Projects have included the Esplanade Arts and Heritage Centre Museum (Medicine Hat, AB), Queen Elizabeth Theatre (Vancouver, BC), Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto, ON) and others.
  • involved in several university and community centre projects, assisting in designing and modeling the acoustical environment. Projects have included the Angus Glen Community Centre & Library (Markham, ON), Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre (Toronto, ON), University of Western Ontario Natural Sciences Building (London, ON) Algonquin College (Ottawa, ON) and others
  • extensive musical experience, including 8 years with the Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra and completing grade 8 Royal Conservatory of Music in piano. Kiyoshi currently plays drums in a church band and is a former member of a taiko drum ensemble and cultural choirs.
