The Innovation:
Bridgepoint Active Healthcare sits on the edge of Toronto’s Don Valley. The 472-bed hospital replaced its 1960s predecessor, incorporating the 1860s Don Jail as an administrative space. Bridgepoint was a design, build, finance, maintain (DBFM) project, designed, and built under a project delivery model called Alternative Financing and Procurement (AFP). Aercoustics worked with Planning, Design and Compliance team to develop appropriate noise and vibration criteria for the hospital.
