Expanded Senior Team Provides More Comprehensive and Customized Support to Clients
Aercoustics Engineering Ltd., a leader in acoustics, noise, and vibration, is pleased to announce the promotion of Eric Salt and Chris Bosyj to the position of Associate.

Salt joined Aercoustics as a Project Engineer in 2018. He has a Bachelor of Engineering and Management and a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University. He completed his doctoral work in the field of Flow-Induced Noise and Vibration in the Aeroacoustics Research Laboratory at McMaster. While focusing on developing flow control and noise suppression techniques for high-speed jets, he also led a number of team research programs, including aircraft landing gear noise, flow induced noise control in power-plant infrastructure, and wind-induced noise of building façade elements.
“Eric has been an integral part of the Aercoustics team, bringing his technical acumen and innovative solutions to every project,” said Titus. “In addition to his expertise in flow-induced noise and vibration, he offers specialized knowledge in the areas of healthcare, science, and residential builds, and has supported projects from traditional design-bid-build through modern delivery models including Public Private Partnership (P3) and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD).”
Notable projects he has worked on include the Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, Calgary Stampede’s SAM Centre, McMaster Degroote McLean Centre for Collaborative Discovery, The One Toronto, and Maison de Radio-Canada in Montreal.
Bosyj joined Aercoustics in 2017 and quickly developed a reputation as a transit expert and team leader, helping others grow their technical and project management skills. With a thorough understanding of the practical aspects of noise and vibration in transit, he led Aercoustics’ team on the Scarborough Subway Extension Advance Tunnel project and was responsible for developing Aercoustics’ borehole rig for subgrade vibration propagation testing for tunnels for the Finch West LRT project.
“Our transit team has grown significantly and steadily over the last few years, handling many large transit infrastructure projects including the Ontario Line Southern Civil, Stations, and Tunnel project,” said Titus. “With the anticipated ongoing investment in transit in Ontario, there is a need for local expertise to build, maintain, and operate new transit systems. Chris will help Aercoustics satisfy the needs of this growing sector.”
