Aercoustics Joins CANStruction to Fight Hunger

CANStruction is a charitable event where creative designers and engineers compete with each other to create the most incredible structures – entirely out of canned food! After the event all the canned foods are donated directly to the Daily Bread Food Bank. Last year alone, over 67,000 lbs of food were donated, feeding more than 120,000 people.

This year, we encourage everyone to join Aercoustics as part of CANStruction in raising a goal of $8,500. Every dollar donated will go directly towards purchasing canned food, building our structure and later will be donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank, helping to feed those in need.

Restarting the Aercoustics-Marshall Day Employee Exchange

Melbourne, Australia / Toronto, Ontario, Canada

We’re excited to announce the return of our Employee Exchange Program with Marshall Day Acoustics! After a pause during the pandemic, this initiative is back, offering Aercoustics team members the chance to explore and work abroad, enhancing their skills and broadening their perspectives. Earlier this year, Alexandra Davidson traveled from Toronto to Melbourne, contributing to various environmental projects across Australia and New Zealand. She embraced the experience, including playing Aussie rules football.

Meanwhile, Mathew Garland from Marshall Day arrived in Toronto, diving into acoustics work across Ontario and British Columbia. He quickly connected with the Aercoustics team, joining our film club and local footy league! We’re excited to continue supporting our staff through this program, which exemplifies our values of collaboration, exploration, and shared learning, creating opportunities that benefit not just individuals but the entire team.
