The Challenge:
To ensure that the maternity ward of the hospital could enjoy peace and quiet while being situated under a busy helipad.
The Innovation:
During the design, Aercoustics actually reproduced the predicted impact of the helipad. This involved recording the noise impact, modelling the construction, and reproducing the predicted acoustic impact for the hospital’s doctors and executives. Aercoustics provided sensitive and comprehensive noise and vibration controls to help ensure that all healthcare services could co-exist without compromise – like the maternity ward sitting below the helipad as you can see in this video.
