The Challenge:

This ambitious multi-phase project, centered around a major transit hub, demanded careful acoustic design due to its compact site and varied residential and mixed-use components.

The Innovation:

In partnership with CentreCourt, Aercoustics provided environmental noise studies and acoustic design support for Towers 1, 2, and 3, three 55-storey condominium towers in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre’s Transit City. Approval from local authorities was secured for managing environmental noise, vibration impacts, and intricate acoustic design standards. Notably, Aercoustics effectively mitigated noise and vibration concerns stemming from transit sources like the CN rail yard, highlighting our expertise in addressing complex acoustic challenges within the project’s unique context.
