The Challenge:
Support with municipal approval which was contested by MECP through sewage/water ECA requirements. A facility with noisy hydrovac trucks operating in an urban area sharing a property line with residential backyards
The Innovation:
Provided advice on acoustic barrier construction methods which were less costly, more flexible and effective. Accounted for detailed operations down to the orientation of each truck as it waited in the queue during a worst-case hour. Supported initial modeling with detailed performance verification measurements and AAR. New facility right next to a row of dwellings.
