The Challenge:
To create an intimate 210-seat room that functions as both a lecture hall by day, and a recital hall by night.
The Innovation:
The Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo, Ontario aims to recruit the best scientists in the world and wanted their building to be a primary attraction. To satisfy the needs of both speech and music, the Aercoustics team worked with Saucier + Perrotte Architects to create a space that has quickly become one of Canada’s favourite recital halls featuring acts like The Juilliard String Quartet.
