The Challenge:
The school includes dance studios, acting studios, a black box theatre (75-person audience), production labs, sound and light lab, and support space. This temporary of home of Toronto Metropolitan University’s Faculty of Theatre is in the basement of the Student Learning Centre. The challenge was in designing for a temporary location under space constraints, while meeting the requirements for excellence in this vibrant arts school.
The Innovation:
Aercoustics provided design recommendations tailored to the space constraints, delivering creative solutions to meet high performance standards across many discerning stakeholders.
