The Challenge:
The Mosaic Stadium is the home of CFL’s Saskatchewan Roughriders. The 533,000 sf facililty can seat up to 40,000. The Stadium also features a 120-seat auditorium, meeting rooms, a 5,400-square-foot training facility, and 4,450-square-foot locker room. The stadium required flexibility to accommodate concerts, FIFA soccer matches and a variety of cultural and entertainment events.
The Innovation:
Aercoustics provided full design, construction administration, and commissioning services including creating a 3D model of the stadium to confirm the reverberation time on the field of play for different scenarios – including concerts. Since opening, it has been praised for high quality amenities, comfort, and design from athletes, coaches, and spectators alike.
