The Challenge:
The Atlantic Science Enterprise Centre will be a state-of-the-art research and office facility uniting four federal organizations. Their joint mission is to understand, protect and sustain Atlantic freshwater and coastal ecosystems in Canada. This ambitious project features many exciting, but acoustically sensitive components.
The Innovation:
Aercoustics has been entrusted with providing acoustic engineering services for all facets of this complex, Net Zero Carbon project. Our full acoustic design services are addressing labs which require significant vibration control and sound isolation for reliable research use, a four storey atrium and circular Indigenous gathering space – both requiring sophisticated room acoustic modelling to integrate custom finishes for acoustic comfort, and lecture halls and offices for collaboration.
