The Challenge:
To ensure sound isolation between the two new theatres – located within the shell of the previous 1,800 seat theatre.
The Innovation:
The Greenwin Theatre is located in what was previously the flytower of the original theatre. To date, we do not know of any other project where a flytower has been repurposed as a theatre space. This unique project presented several challenges which the Aercoustics teams was able to mitigate including sound isolation performance between the two adjacent theatres.
