The Challenge:
Modern Mosaic is an architectural precast concrete facility in Niagara Falls. Aercoustics delivered the Acoustic Assessment to support Ministry of the Environment permitting. What makes this site unique is the surrounding land uses, which include residential dwellings, an open campsite, and the QEW highway.
The Innovation:
Through careful acoustic modelling, we established noise controls that allowed the site to comply with allowable Ministry limits and minimize impacts to the campground and dwellings.
