The Challenge:
Day care play areas located next to very busy roads and tall wrap-around acoustic fences were not feasible.
The Innovation:
We ensured the road traffic noise was below the provincial sound level limits using a combination of creative layouts, use of play area storage fixtures and supplemented with shorter acoustic barrier segments.
