The Challenge:
To help control noise levels during peak occupancy in the great room, to provide an improved understanding of the impact of a new open concept plan, and to improve speech intelligibility during presentations in the great room.
The Innovation:
Aercoustics provided acoustic design services to support the expansion and renovation of the Osler Bluff Ski Club lounge and restaurant space. To evaluate the effect of the proposed treatment approach, a 3D acoustic model of the open concept space was created to analyze the reverberation time and speech intelligibility. The Osler Bluff Ski Club re-opened to great acclaim 2019 – featuring a new Douglas Fir acoustic ceiling throughout.
