The Challenge:
The Stack offers 600,000 square feet of office space and approximately 12,000 square feet of retail at grade. The Vancouver building also features a top of house event space, offices, meeting rooms, and support spaces. There are office amenity spaces on Levels 1 and 2, which include a conference centre space and a fitness centre. The building is LEED Platinum certified and the base building construction is flexible and built to attract and retain high-value tenants.
The Innovation:
Aercoustics defined and supported sound isolation upgrades between the fitness centre and other sensitive amenity spaces. Recommendations included sound isolation and mechanical noise controls for base building mechanical services, including mock-up testing of critical equipment.
