The Challenge:
The extension of the Lafarge Navan Quarry would bring the operation of the heavy machinery in close proximity to rural households.
The Innovation:
Using a novel strategy of phasing the extraction we were able to allow the processing equipment to get close to the noise sensitive receptor while minimizing the runs to the working face.
